Communities

Oak Creek: Oak Creek is a City of about $36,000 residents and growing. Many of our residents have moved here to enjoy the suburban and rural atmosphere while, at the same time, taking advantage of the urban services provided by the City, as well as the professional sports and cultural activities provided within the Metropolitan area of Milwaukee. This is reflected in Oak Creek’s motto, “Where City Meets the Country”.

Oak Creek, with its 28.4 square miles of area, enjoys an enviable location in the Midwest – just west of Lake Michigan. Not only is Oak Creek a part of the Milwaukee Metropolitan area, but it is only 85 miles from the heart of Chicago and 330 miles from Minneapolis both via Interstate 94.
Oak Creek has recently experienced a revival of restaurants, stores and businesses of its own, including the opening of IKEA near its “Drexel Town Square” – business is booming and jobs are plentiful !

Franklin: The City of Franklin is just west of Oak Creek with a population of about $38,000 residents. One thing about Franklin I have always noticed is that there is no neighborhood that I would not want to live in! Franklin is highly sought after for its outstanding school system, low crime, upscale homes and growing businesses. Franklin is the “primary destination” to live and learn, work and play and to do business. Parks in the Summer and skiing in the Winter ! Franklin has it all !

Caledonia: The Village of Caledonia has only recently been incorporated as a Village in 2005. This urban and growing Village is known for its small town feel, beautiful landscapes, low taxes, and its mixture of tucked away farm houses, upscale sprawling estates and lakefront property. Its new Gifford School District is one of the most highly sought-after school districts for growing families and executives moving into the Village. The Village of Caledonia is located just south of Oak Creek (Milwaukee County) in the most northern section of Racine County.

Wind Point: The beautiful Village of Wind Point is located Northeast of Hwy 32 in Racine County and is home of the Wind Point Lighthouse and the home of Wingspread. The Lighthouse stands 108 feet tall and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Lighthouse was lit on November 15, 1880 and continues to be lit to this day. This peaceful residential community has beautiful homes located along the Lake Michigan Shoreline. The Village of Wind Point is also home of Prairie School – one of the highest academic schools in the Country.

North Bay: The Village of North Bay is located just South of the Village of Wind Point, WI, along Lake Michigan. This small yet stately community has about 125 homes and a population of about 450 residents. The Village of North Bay offers a high quality of life in a peaceful setting – another community where once you settle in – you won’t want to leave!!

Racine: Poised for a major revitalization, Racine is home to beautiful lakefront beaches and gently rolling hills, vibrant urban areas, the Racine Zoo, an array of restaurants and fare that will tantalize your taste buds, outdoors and recreational activities from the Farmers’ Market to 3rd Coast Bicyles. Racine’s peaceful rural retreats is home to 200,000 diverse and welcoming residents, proud of our history and busy building our future. Racine has something great to look forward to !!
Racine County is located on the shores of Lake Michigan, conveniently situated between Milwaukee and Chicago. From Burlington to the City of Racine, and the 15 communities in between, our county has something to offer everyone.

Mt Pleasant: The Village of Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin was chosen as the site for a new LCD panel glass fabrication plant by FOXCONN. The Village of Mount Pleasant is preparing for the biggest manufacturing campus which will be comprised of multiple buildings to produce liquid crystal display (LCD) panels for a variety of industries. Employment opportunities are soaring, major businesses are moving into the area because of FOXCONN, construction is booming and the Village of Mount Pleasant residents are very optimistic for the future. Let me say it again, the Village of Mount Pleasant residents are very optimistic for the future !

Kenosha: Kenosha is another Wisconsin city on Lake Michigan. The waterfront Kenosha Public Museum has mammoth skeletons and a model Native American village. Nearby, the Civil War Museum explores the war’s impact on the region. The Dinosaur Discovery Museum has a collection of dinosaur fossils. Southport Light Station Museum includes exhibits in an 1860s lighthouse keeper’s home. The Southport Lighthouse offers views from the top. Kenosha is also home to Gateway Technical College.

Pleasant Prairie: Wisconsin has some absolutely beautiful lakefront properties and Pleasant Prairie is no exception. Pleasant Prairie is a village in Kenosha County, situated between Milwaukee and Chicago. The population has been increasing to 28,000. The neighborhoods of Carol Beach, Dexter’s Corner, Ranney, and Tobin are located within the village and some of the most beautiful neighborhoods near Lake Michigan.
